I think a big reason Patterson was so ready this last season was because of the stage he constantly played on at Montverde. I also think he was a little underrated because of the talent surrounding him and we got a 3-star steal. He performed better as a freshman than most have that I can remember recently. He might not have scored a lot or had a ton of assists but he was deadly efficient (37.3% from 3 and 2.2 ast:0.8 TO)

It could very well be the truth. I am not an expert on SEC bylaws. This isn't a super common issue within the SEC so who knows. Maybe that's why LSU hasn't been in contact with him. IDK.
