NIL and portal question r.e. Bama and possibly Ole Miss

As it applies to a team changing coaches, I understand 2024 National Letters of Intent are void unless the kid is an early enrollee. I also understand that the teams current players are immediately eligible for the portal. Does that apply to recent portal commits as well? I would guess that a portal commit would have enrolled already in order to be eligible for spring practice. If so, would that make them ineligible to re-enter the portal without penalty? Would the two transfer rule apply to them?
So, hypothetically, if Lane takes the Bama job next week, is that new Ole Miss portal class open to leave without penalty? If so, it would be an absolute shite show for them. They would likely lose a TON of bodies in a matter of days.
As a fan, you need a pipeline to the NCAA compliance office to keep up with this changing landscape.

NLI (National Letter of Intent) not NIL (Name, Image and Likeness).

Thanks, I transposed that. I meant it as National Letter of Intent.

That would be fricking amazing if they all bailed with Kiffin at the 11th hour. Oxford would burn. It would be the ultimate WAOM moment.
