I have to give credit where credit is due here. You can look to the already early defectors in 2022 class and get down or see this bright hope:

-QB & OL have been our biggest challenges (QB prior to very recent). These are rarely available with top-tier products in-state and are also arguably the hardest 2 positions to evaluate coming out of HS for transition to SEC.
We have a top QB committed and already pledges from 3 solid OL, with hopefully another to come on March 10. And dwright’s 2022 OL post clearly shows we are nowhere near done yet.

-also meeting CB needs early. That will be a big hole to refill in 2022 class and already 3 CB commits

-6 LA recruits are in the 2022 Top 100 per 24/7 current rankings. We have commitments from 2 already.
It’s certainly not new news here, but 2022 LA recruit class is DEEP. And that bodes well for LSU. Past has shown us good things come when we load up on deep & talented LA classes.

-we will continue to reach out to top shelf OOS talent like Shemar Stewart also

**disclaimer: I’m no insider and have ZERO connections. Just see something great shaping up here.

We definitely need the Oline and good we have a Qb.

My personal opinion i think we focus on cornerbacks and LBs 2022. Obviously we will land top WRs and I'm sure we will also get the safeties.

Yeah but to close strong they will need a much better season than what transpired this past season

Louisiana is loaded pretty frequently. What makes 2022 different is the depth and diversity of the good players at many different positions. I don't care what the recruiting rankings say at the end of 2022. If we take care of Louisiana that will produce a class that can compete for titles.

While that’s a pretty fair point, yes, I’m specifically meaning the broader depth of talent in this specific LA class. I’ve also been following LSU recruiting pretty closely since ~2002. This is a really nice class and QB & OL were crucial.

We could take 20 players from the state of Louisiana in 22. What a loaded class.

6 o-lineman would be great for 22, and it's shaping up to be that way, good thing is, we can def. sell on early playing time after next season, we will be going through a overhaul again

Such a blessing to have an elite in-state QB locked up 1+ year before signing day
