You really dont know what good info is. Good info is stuff that usually comes true. Thats about 5% of the stuff posted around here. If everyone was held accountable in some way, you'd notice that. Most of the stuff just slides off, no one remembers.

Im just speaking in general. I havent followed your posts, really.

Times like this, I especially hate facebook.

Because some of the information could be gained through a private message or through a chat which, to me, is the same as calling someone on the phone or talking face to face and I don't see the problem (or the creepiness) in that IFFFFFFFF you actually know them personally outside of facebook.

The problem with facebook is that it's now part of this new social voyeur world where people (all ages) post all sorts of things, true or false, on their page and people take it too seriously.

Facebook has messed up our ability to have normal, real, and personal relationships.

But generally I agree, I don't like the facebook stuff but I'm also not going to sit here and criticize something when we're all just here for any shred of information we can access and to discuss that information.

More people need to learn to take stuff rationally and with a grain of salt instead of running with it, especially when it's something posted from facebook, but it could be anything, including recruiting services articles.

That's my take. But it's probably not worth shite.

And I saw the stuff yesterday talking about the group that people think of as "leaders" around here and I fell in that group. I was travelling and on my wife's Droid so responding would have been a pain in the arse.

I appreciate the positive vibes and compliments but I am no insider. I have zero inside information. And I like to believe that I don't suggest that I do.

I'm just an amateur like most of us who can't get enough LSU sports, especially the recruiting side of things. I gather my information from as many places as possible including videos, recruiting sites, and news sites, and try to come up with an informed opinion. I like to think that I'm pretty rational and, while I admit that I do get excited and sucked into the hype at times, I try to be as realistic as possible. I try to float between totally negative (we're not landing him, there is no hope) and positive (I pretty much never say lock).

So, I don't need the accolades and I certainly don't deserve them but I do appreciate it. I'm just one of the guys and I enjoy this site. I don't like the minor divide that has developed in the past couple of days but I try to realize most of us are only here for two things (information and discussion) and I like to think that no matter our differences, we can all sit down and have a few beers (root beers for Born).

Sorry so sappy, but that all is a total of about 5 posts I have wanted to make since yesterday.

I agree with you Memphis. I will be the first person to say that I overreact about stuff. But I really doubt Collins would say that. I don't talk to him or have him as a friend. Plus we all know those barners are way out of my league with those creepy pics and stuff.
