When you become a H.C. in the SEC, you can do your thing. Until then, stop pretending to know more about recruiting than our coaching staff.

it's a fact.. and common sense really

not really an opinion

actually, I was told we could criticize coaches and call them names... just can't call players obscene names

Actually, a physically mature, experienced impact player will be nice considering we lose CP, TJ, TJohnson, and possibly RJF next year. Its a good get.

312, go research Claiborne. The kid is extremely impressive. I am very excited about him. Glad to hear you say that you "will be rooting for him with no reservations once he gets on campus." But I don't get why you will only be doing so after he "gets on campus." Are you hoping he gets in some sort of car wreck or something that keeps him from showing up as part of LSU's team?

More importantly, I don't get why you have to engage in all the negative bitching. You love the Tigers, right? You love yourself, right? You and SFP bitch and bitch and bitch about the Tigers, right? Do you and SFP bitch and bitch and bitch about yourselves as well? Why the double-standard? Yes, LSU isn't perfect, and neither are you, neither is SFP. But somehow, you and SFP have found a way to somehow love yourselves, to believe in something positive about yourselves that keeps y'all from committing suicide--so I don't get how you can't love the Tigers just as much. Really, it comes across like you and SFP believe you are both 100% perfect and that everything else in the universe, including the LSU Tigers, is inferior to you two.

SFP is a frustrated guy too lazy to try to play but loves to find fault with those that do play.
He loves to discuss schemes via the internet but too gutless to say anything in person to players or coaches.

SFP doesn't love discussing schemes, SFP just loves to bitch and bitch and bitch. He loves to point out every single negative he can possibly think of about LSU football. It's like he spends all his free time thinking of negative things to bitch about regarding the Tigers, which he claims to be a fan of. Maybe he was raped over and over and over by his own father, maybe he was made fun of his entire life for being a fat dork that never fit in, maybe he has horrific burns that have made him a hideous site for any human to have to look at... I don't know. I don't know the guy, all I know is that he comes on here and bitches and bitches and bitches about LSU like I have never seen anybody bitch about anything in my life.

My stepson plays for Haughton, the same district with Fair Park. Six teams out of that district made the playoffs. Hands down talking to my stepson and other players, plus watching the kid play. He is a great athlete and can play several positions. He is very good!!! So before some of you start knocking a kid over a ranking do some research. Hester was only a 2 star, remember.

Of course I wish no physical harm on him. But if he decommitted and was replaced by a five star, nationally ranked recruit, I wouldn't be heartbroken.

That paragraph was a very strange exercise in amatuer psychoanalysis. I am going to try to ignore it, since I found the rest of your argument in this thread to be intelligent and well-constructed.

For the record, of course I want LSU to be perfect. I hope we have the number one recruiting class every February and go 14-0 every fall.

And of course I am not perfect.

But I don't think that has any bearing on whether Claiborne is a good recruit! LOL.

I actually think this is one of the best bumps ever.

Claiborne is probably going to be a 3-year starter, has the potential to be one of the better corners in the conference and people (not all obviously) treated his committment like shite.

I need to go back through and find my comments..........but I'm pretty sure I didn't bash him at all. This is why I tend to trust the coaches, especially our coaches, when it comes to recruiting.

I get the 3 year starter thing and the bump but this talk about him be close to PP is a bit far fetched.

Gotta give Lester Earl his props. He fought the good fight in that thread. I wish someone would bump the thread from a couple weeks later when Claiborne's film showed up and everybody said... "oh shite, he's legit."

Well we'll see, won't we? All I know is PP is as self-confident and cocky as anyone and he speaks VERY highly of Claiborne.

He will truly be tested this year because the other half of the field might be off limits for the most part.

This bump is mighty premature. I am excited about the prospect of Claiborne, but right now all we know is that he looks good in practice and people that know him speak highly of him.

Wait until the end of the season, then bump this thread again.
