You sound like another arse on here shooting off your trap about nothing you know about. This kid would stand out wherever he went, not just at an Alabama, some of y'all always seriously underestimate LA HS talent when it's some of the best HS talent in the country. That's why these kids go to other schools besides an LSU and stand out wherever they're at, shite Kansas has turned their program around because of LA talent. Alabama can see the talent in the kid which is why they offered, but some know it all geek like you wanna make a wisecrack about the kid as if you know what the hell you're talking about.LOL The highlights don't lie, and LSU will probably get around to offering late like they always do.

He's already proved in another thread he doesn't understand offers and he refuses to stop ranting and learn.

Hollins doesn't wow you.
LSU will slowplay him and he's probably a backup plan at this point.

If he ends up in this class it will be similar to Darrell Williams or Brosette type deal.

They meant slide in at the end of the class because bigger fish committed elsewhere but the comparison sucks not only from a historical standpoint but player comparison as well.

This Hollins kid can ball I'd rather have him than Harris on my squad

Yep. Here's a prime example. Amik Robertson. It was reported he had an offer and he listed an offer on 247, yet Orgeron today said in the end he didn't have an offer.

quote:

"A guy you need to watch is (#LaTech DB) Amik Robertson. He's right there from Thibodaux, La. At the end, we didn't offer him a scholarship, but he went to Louisiana Tech. This guy is like a little Honey Badger. He leads the team in interceptions..." (1/2)
- #LSU coach Ed Orgeron

247 Offer List

Of course, I'm sure that guy's going to figure out some way to yell at me and tell me I don't know what I'm talking about.

Id prefer we take Hollins over Cain at this point in time, if no Emery, then we should take both and let the cream rise to the top.

Holland does not appear to have the breakout pop that you want to see in a RB. Prefer Cain or Emory.

Very nice runner, very nice kid.

Not quite the speed of the others being recruited - period.

He is tough and is patient getting to the line, but there are plenty of 5'11" 205 (if that) RB's out there.

Again, strong kid and a really nice player. But we are looking for NC material. He just doesn't seem to be there at this point IMHO.

I have watched three different highlight films for Cain, and he gets walked down, and definitely doesnt have the breakout pop you speak of. Hollins has more acceleration and top end speed where you can see him actually pulling away from DBs.

I know the level of competition is different, but if Cain cant pull away from DBs or even LBs at IMG, he sure in hell wont in college
