Isn't Ford supposed to play in some game in Hawaii or has it already been played and I just haven't heard anything?
Thanks for the info.

I didnt see the game but from watching some youtube highlights I think he did well. He didnt haev the best RB numbers but I know they gave one of his goaline carries away to th eother RB. and He was one toe out of bounds from being fone on a 9o plus yard TD!

Happend and helped him move up to #2 RB and 5* on Scout.

Bob Lichtenfels, Scout's Recruiting manager had this to say about Ford.

quote:

Ford is the best running back I have seen this year not named Bryce Brown. I would still have a struggle picking Brown over Ford. Mark my words SEC fans you will be hearing this kids name quite a few times the next few years. He looks like a power back, but he has such a quick burst. He can hit the hole and be at top speed very quickly. Ford is also a talented receiver out of the backfield. He did well in pass pro as well.

This was after the Hawaii game and hence the big move.

Ford will be better than Cecil Collins and nothing but a class act for LSU. Predict that Charles Scott will be moved to fullback in 2009 season and Ford will be top tailback and set LSU rushing record for freshmen running back.

Unless Ford is a complete phenom, he is not going to beat out Scott for starting RB.

yeah, that's a typical move for Miles.
