I heard the exact same thing from a coach/friend Mathis is not even close to being on the level with Lawrence. He also said TCU was his best bet to ever see the field. No sour grapes here. Good kid, but not SEC caliber. Guess time will tell

Didn't andolsek die around 36. . .? Not sure if I misread or what, but seems like you're saying he died at 24.

As much of a beast as he was....he was killed cutting his grass on his riding lawnmower. Driver lost control went off the road and hit Erik and the mower... Freak accident. He was 24. Shook his hands a couple of times at Charlie levert's wedding....biggest hands I have ever saw.

If Mathis shows up in Tuscaloosa with a Charger I'm calling the NCAA.

Depth chart was more favorable at Bama. That's what they sold him. Meh, I like our class still. Good haul considering.

I had a class with Andolsek my junior year. The man was huge. He seemed a foot thick. A buddy I work with worked for the lafourche sheriffs office swears that the truck bumper was bent where Andolsek's calves were.
All that said, Eric was a smart, nice, down to earth guy.
