Can someone explain the back story about the narrative of Jess Curtis not liking LSU? Is this just about Ed not recruiting Tacket hard enough or is there more to it?

Seems like the same as when Joe McKnight went to USC and we heard about how JT and the family hate LSU.

Ok thank you for the guidance. Your three replies in a row really cleared it up. Can you provide their contact information? I don’t really know the family. Actually I don’t know the family at all. Just spent three hours digging through all those old threads you mentioned. Can’t find anything about them hating LSU. Just that Ed didn’t recruit Tack hard.
I guess that’s the answer?

Well hundred post about this. Nobody here knows shite about what family feels or what LSU did or didn’t do. Go bump one of those threads. Kid is not SEC worthy and not going to LSU so why keep this situation alive on Tiger rant. No disrespect!

The reason for the question is because Many looks to have several future recruits and developing a relationship with the coach and program would be in LSU’s best interest. With that said, I don’t follow Many but I have seen, like you stated, hundreds of threads about Many and the coaching staff hate LSU but nothing has been stated about why and how long that has been a thing.
Is this just something Many has always been about or is this about a mishandled recruitment of Tacket and won’t be an issue moving forward?

They felt slighted on a visit where they felt like Tackett should have been given more attention.
You guys are entirely too wrapped up in this kid.
He would never start at safety he's too slow. And im not sure whit weeks isn't better honestly.
We have Harold Perkins and Demario Tolan at LB who have shown real promise.
Jaiden Ausberry is the bigger miss. Kid is on campus and his daddy is on staff and he got away.
We're in a great spot to land Tylen Singleton from Many in 2024.
No "town" hates LSU. Hell metro BR is bleeding more players than anywhere if you take into account Ausberry, Mathews and Holstein.

I think Tylen Singleton is going to a heck of a prospect. Was curious to know how real the anti LSU narrative was. Thanks for the clearing that up. Hopefully this kid doesn’t get pushed any which way and is allowed to enjoy his recruitment without inside influence. Great prospect.
