Spencer ware is a great comparison.

He's 3 inches taller and 30-35lbs. heavier.

YOu telling me Spencer ware is 5'6"?

I wasn't even talking about physical body. I was referring to his running style. I've seen him play several times.

No Magee is 5'8" 190 while Ware is 5'11" 225.

Just going by what the recruiting sites say. Maybe he looks bigger with his extra padding.

Rivals-190

Scout-200

NOLA-190

Max Preps-190

ESPN-195 which is weird since they use Scout.

To be fair, this is the only time I've seen him play live.

I am very excited about him!!! My buddy lives in Franklintown and that is how I found out about him and he says he is bigger than he looks. Still not sure what that means, but I like the way it sounds!!

Him and Robinson are boh really good. Moo state got a good one. I'm not saying McGee is 230, but there's no way he's light. And I've seen him without pads.

same type of runner if you watch their video

yes, Ware is a little bigger but both are well-proportioned athletes with similar attributes

When I watched him live, Magee seemed much closer to Blue than Ware. Seems quicker and faster than Ware.

man, Ware is pretty quick and fast IMO. I'd take him over Blue any day. I really believe Ware is our best RB..at least from what I've seen

I saw the Abilene game and was not quite as impressed with his running ability as most of you guys. However, I was impressed with his arm strength. He looked college ready, to me, size wise but not sure how LSU would use him. He is not a QB. Maybe a WR or a switch to LB?? Abilene's D kept him in check the entire game and wore that O out by the end of the second half. I can away pleased how Franklington represented La.

The fella from Franklinton hit the nail on the head. This guy has balance. Almost magical balance. I assure you this guy will be a big time contributor 2-3 yrs from now, if it takes that long.

You lurk around message boards looking to start arguments?

The guy is good. Everyone has an opinion. I personally don't think he's the third best RB in this class. He's going to pass people up at LSU. He's got IT.

In 2-3 years you'll have:

RS Junior-Senior Michael Ford
Junior-Senior Spencer Ware
Junior-Senior Alfred Blue
RS Freshman-RS Soph-Junior Kenny Hilliard
RS Freshman-RS Soph-Junior Jeremy Hill
RS Freshman-RS Soph-Junior Terrance Magee

Seems like a shite ton of guys for Magee to be a big contributor. Personally I think you'll have a Ford/Ware split with Blue taking the slasher role. Nothing against the three coming in this year at all.

Is Les Miles leaving LSU? The other 2 running backs in this class are definitely in the Les Miles mold of power backs. I like Magee a lot, but you have to look at how he fits into LSU's scheme.
