He has an offer from Ark - previous coaching staff.
Not sure if will stick or not with changes but LSU could use a K in this class and who knows maybe they could get him as a walk on.

At a minimum we need a kicker to handles kickoffs into the end zone since LSU is losing Gamble.

Eliminating the kick return is pretty much commonplace now in the NFL and college game.

The other Catholic k has proved to be just great. Lot's of Catholic trolls following TD. Your k did well against U-High, what, 6 points vs. the JV?

Catholic High has been known for always having great kickers. I bet CHS kickers are better than whatever garbage high school team you played for.

Before this season he had some issues with FG accuracy. I think I recall he charted 5/10 at one of the National Camps earlier in the year. He does have some great tools but there are a TON of great kickers in his class who have better and more consistent legs. I do not see us taking a kicker in this class, mainly because we have an offer out to the #1 kicker in class of 2019. If we were going to take a kicker ( which we won't) we should be on Derek Ng out of Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas or Pierson Cooke out of MI. In fact, someone is going to steal Cooke....he is a kid that hit the national scene late in the game. He is on the upswing and whoever pics him up will end up with top 10 talent.

just notice your class ring as you picked that nose. Maybe y'all should recruit a few more Baptists.

He didn't play JV. He's a senior. Get your facts straight.

No, genius, UHigh played their JV's in the 2nd half vs. the alter boys - actual fact.

No. They played their starters late into the fourth quarter. Especially their defense. I was there and took note. However, U High is probably the best team in the state including all divisions. They'll beat De La Salle by twenty.

If LSU wouldn't have passed on Briggs Bourgeois from St.Amant last year, we wouldn't be in this predicament.

Wrong. Briggs had a mediocre year last year at Southern Miss. ( Which admittedly, surprised me a bit) Only had TB on about half his KOs....kicked it OB 4 or 5 times. Parker handled PAT and FG for them.

No, YOU’RE Wrong. No way on earth that Gonsoulin is in Briggs’ class. Bourgeois will improve, plus I’m not so sure he should only be a kicker. The kid is a special athlete.
