Btw molly frack is now with Auburn

LSU pulled her scholly after a major back injury!

But LSU needs to add one or two transfers for next year. I know they are in the works

Had heard Frack wasn’t coming but didn’t know the rest. Thank you for all of the info

I am curious what will happen with a lot of these elite committed to Alabama for future classes

I don't see Duckworth there soon. Teams are poorly coached and underachieve with decent talent level.

One other question... are we recruiting Lori Stong-Ballard’s daughter? We need another Olympian daughter :)

I can’t believe how underwhelming the gym gumps are this season. I think they got excited when Duckworth won SECs her first season as HC, but that had more to do with Florida beam falls than their own performance.

Is she 2020?

Because our 2020 class is almost pretty full with Dunne, Arenas, Kelley, Bryant

2 we have international elites and two top level 10's already

That 2020 class is outstanding for sure.

Sierra Ballard was born in 2002, is in 10th grade, and trains at Northshore...I’m terrible with the year of entry, but this does look like 2020.

I just saw that USAG is having a verification camp for World Cup assignments in our facility! If TT has any assignments, I think she should just go ahead and commit to LSU :)

LSU really needs to add Lizzy for next year. She adds a lot on beam and floor.

I really think LSU needs to add a transfer for next year.

Its unfortunate that Desiderio came into LSU all beat up. She really can add so much more than what she does now. I think her beam routine is way to simple for her. Probably why she isn't scoring 9.95's , not enough difficulty in the routine. Floor really is her event but she isn't conditioned enough.

She also posted a picture with Lexi and Mckenna on the floor at the PMAC.

Is there a time frame for her decision? I hope it’s not another circus

I don't understand why she suddenly went to Illinois .

Made zero sense, she would have been used a lot here already and be in the beam and floor lineup already

It seems people and rumored NCAA coaches are not happy about this. If Trinity does end up committing to LSU, the meltdown will be unreal.

I wonder if coaches in gymnastics know where the athletes are leaning during their recruitments similar to how football coaches know. Are the gymnasts upfront with coaches and will communicate to them what other schools they are considering?

I would think the coaches would know in most cases...I do remember Terin Humphrey visited gumpland without telling her coaches... they didn’t want her to be distracted in the Olympic Year iirc

And yes the gymternet, as usual, is hating on anything cool for LSU. Who would these miserable people pick on if LSU wasn’t an option?

No clue, but it's so old. The same stuff every year. I guess they just can't get used to the fact that LSU is a national power now. I think it's especially funny that they ooh & ahh over the former elites at UCLA, OU, & UF, but crickets when it comes to LSU's. Also, the same with the way the judges are judging. SIX 10's yesterday in the UCLA & OU meet, but Sarah Finnegan can't buy a 10 for the life of her. Ok, rant over.

UCLA will lose their minds if Trinity commits to LSU. they have already reported many teams over the past couple years to the NCAA because some of the recruits picked someone else. They definitely do not like LSU's rise to power because these select few teams have always picked up the top recruits every year.

I do hope scoring is better for us over the next half of the year. I have watched routines from UCLA, OU, Florida, and UTah. Some have taken major hops on their vaults and still score 9.9's. Some stumble on floor and fail to connect stuff on beam/ hit their 180 splits but still score high.

UCLA lives in a glass house as far as recruiting violations go. Miss Val has a long history of illegal contact with tweens
