Probably just trying to round out a full class. Even if we get 3-4 big surprises, we will still have some spots open. It's an area of need so I like the offer. Even with the weather looking nice after last night

Well, at this point most of the top recruits are committed or the work has been put in. You need a few 3 stars to round out your class. You just try to go after the ones with the biggest upside and that you feel you might be able to sway now that you have an idea what your class is going to look like.

This was expected to be just a pretty good recruiting class for us. Getting BeBe on board had some getting a little too excited especially with the limited time he had to work. Either they pull off some miracles and we end up with a top 5 class, or this is exactly the type of class we were expecting. 2016 is likely going to be on the 2014 level anyway, so we need these depth guys that are likely to be here 4-5 years.

I understand, but it's much preferred that we not be in this position in the first place. Where the OL is concerned, Grimes has been here a year, and we haven't exactly seen an improvement in OL recruiting over Stud - maybe even worse.

Why do we have to scramble for 3 stars late? Why didn't we have 4s and 5s committed already like all the other teams above us. We shouldn't start out slow each year. We should start out fast.
