Does it seem like we are scrambling now to fill these spots? I think it kind of looks bad when you are a few weeks from signing day and making new offers.
I guess LSU should just give up like you did......

He's not good enough to even warrant consideration from A&M after reaching out to the staff.

This means he belongs nowhere near LSU. He'll get lost somewhere in the depth chart.

Not LSU good.

Honestly why? Needs change. There is a reason good coaching staffs keep in contact with 2nd level prospects. Mack Brown didn't do this which was part of his undoing. He just assumed he'd get guys from his wish list and when he started losing head to heads he ended up scrambling for guys he could get in on that he had no relationship with.

The fact LSU has maintained a relationship with Trey and can just pick up the phone and schedule a visit with a very good prospect, speaks not to the chaotic nature, but to the thorough nature of Miles and the LSU staff.

Please don't troll. We're guests here bro.

Trey and Henderson both reached out to A&M. A&M had a need when we processed a DT. We looked at film and picked Henderson, who also happens to be an EE. That doesn't mean Trey's not good enough to warrant consideration as just like LSU, we also kept up with him for the last year. He's a nice prospect. He's not a 1st tier prospect to either A&M or LSU (nor was Henderson). That doesn't mean he can't play.

We've noticed the insane D-Line talent evaluation skills at aTm. Whats Chavis thinking

I'm not trolling at all. And I post here all the time. Very aware of the rules.

Trey won't play for LSU because there are kids on the roster much better. There will be kids in the 2015 and 2016 classes that are much better too.

Chavis is a stud, so it's whatever. I just can't fathom this kid seeing meaningful playing time at LSU.

When LSUs defense is at its best rotation plays a big part in keeping fresh motors on the field.

I understand that.

I just don't see him in that rotation. At least not during meaningful snaps.

Look I could be wrong. I just don't think he's your kind of horse.

It may just be you don't know, and that's cool, but the info you provided is incorrect and it really came across degrading.

Trey reached out to A&M. He was being re-evaluated for an offer due to the Points situation. We were in no hurry because we figured we could wait on it to see where we stood with other guys. Henderson then reached out. We had basically a day to decide because he's an EE. We offered, he committed. Had that not happened, we probably would have offered Trey.

It's not about degrading. I'm just giving my honest opinion. If anything it's a compliment to LSU that I don't think an Army AA and former Texas commit has what it takes to wear purple and gold.

I haven't seen a service report anything close to what you have. From what I've read Price hadn't even seen Trey's film when the kid reached out. He was literally asked to send in his film to Price.

Doesn't sound like a guy we've been evaluating. Not at all.

So you must have some type of other access. Either way, I maintain the kid isn't LSU caliber.
