Update on Shavon Coleman. Reportedly being recruited by LSU, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Iowa, Utah State and Southern Mississippi.

LSU coaches have been to his games and practices. No word yet on official visits. Howard College has two game left, and then playoffs. Nothing will happen until after their season is over.

Just found this video of Shane Hammink from a Nike tournament in Lithuania. From what I've seen this was some of Europe's top competition and Hammink won Defensive MVP. This kid was working, hope we can land him and his "little" brothers next year!

LSU hasn't been recruiting either for a while.

Not saying we are on his radar or anything but it could be interesting to look at Jared Swopshire from Louisville who will be transferring. He will graduate this semester or summer and be eligible next semester. Pitino is giving him the start in his last home game with them this year.

I saw that. Very interesting. He's more of a SF, so it would depend on Coleman. Don't know if LSU is or will be involved in this.

If his game a decent having him for just one year may workout for the tigers and they still have that spot to offer at the end of the year. If he can he a 3 & 4 man for the tigers thats a good fit.

I dont know if LSU will go after this particular transfer, but Trent has signed transfers the past two seasons, so I won't be surprised to see them in the hunt for some transfer. All the better if it's a graduate transfer, because they are eligible immediately and the scholarship opens up the following year.

LSU and San Diego State can just pass Green back and forth like a cheap whore.

Gotta love how a guy can get 20 minutes on a top 25 team but can't play for a team who is NIT bound at best.

Bubba, I've been checking this thread for the past few months now, who and when can we expect to be signed next?

It's not surprising at all. LSU is deep in the front court. Malcolm White would get a lot of playing time at San Diego State. Their guards are excellent, but their front court is garbage.

Even good teams have holes in their roster and bad teams can be loaded at certain positions. Florida, through injury and other things, are super thin at forward and center. Malcolm White and Garrett Green could both be getting PT at Florida, even though the Gators are a much better team than LSU.

I think the two players that LSU has the best chance to sign are Shavon Coleman and Shane Hammink. I know that Hammink has been offered. I know LSU has been recruiting Coleman and has been to his games and practices, but I haven't confirmed an offer.

I know LSU is recruiting several post players, but I have no confirmed names, other than the ones in this thread, and those are tenuous at best.

If I had to pick one name, it would be Hammink, followed by Coleman.

Ok good. I was hoping for those two. Preciate it.

Now if we can only get Martin, I will purchase season tickets to watch him play.
