So still no basis for an argument. Great, thanks
Oh there is a basis! The lack of talented players he has put on the floor shows what he has done has been a huge fail so I dont see much that could be worse!
Or do you believe the talent he has put on the floor in the past 3 recruiting classes that led LSU to a combined 5-27 SEC record the last two years is acceptable????

So a youtube video with selected cuts over 4 years of playing versus powerhouses like Jarvis Christian, Philander Smith and Tougaloo automatically makes you believe that this guy could play over someone like Derenbecker who was in double figures for half of the conference games as a freshman? Sorry man, I'm not buying it.
If you would have came here talking about guys like Chip Armelin or Markel Brown than maybe I could convince myself that I was in a logical debate, but to discuss a two guard that went to Xavier of New Orleans in a recruiting season where we signed Marcus Thornton is off the charts ridiculous.

My argument is the lack of talent that Trent has brought in and I dont think we could do much worse no matter how we recruited.
Derenbecker is slow and a liability and has trouble getting his shot off. I seriously doubt on a .500 or better team he would be anything more than a 7th or 8th guy off the bench to shoot over zones. Turner is the only legit SEC they have on the floor right now O'Bryant will make 2 and who knows about the pg from Kentucky.

Well then this is the wrong thread for that argument because...
(a) This guy came out of high school when Brady was the head coach.
and
(b) He wasn't good enough for us to take over Thornton or Spencer.

I could put together a video of Alex Farrer highlights at LSU and make him look good, youtube highlight videos are weak evidence of someones game
reminds me of the video (i think that i posted) of the 6'8" 8th grader dominating his competition. he better fricking dominate, he's 2 feet taller than everyone else

Actually we played against Darenbecker my senior year. We were up 12-0 after 4 offensive plays. 4 Harvey 3's. Darenbecker had scored 50 points the game before that against Hammond and Harvey held him under 12. Now we had a much better team then they did. Harvey was only about 6 foot back then, but we had a 6'4 Brandon Mitchell who dunked about 3 times a game.

That was in 2007, so what grade was Derenbecker in? 9th grade?
