He was so terribly beaten on the play by Ga Tech

very lucky the ball took forever to get there

how about you watch the entire play

try again.

Yes I know he was beaten--you are not saying anything that someone who watched the game didn't see. But you must also take into account the play he made to get himself back into position and then make a great defense "swat" to knock the ball out of GA Tech's #1 WR.

I realize he gt beat initially, but he did what was necessary to make the play.

Here is the big issue with Chad Jones--HE CANNOT GAURD MAN TO MAN.

He is not able to line up on a slot receiver and run with him in one-on-one coverage. He is a much different player when he can drift as a true FS and be a ball hawk. Remember the UK interception he made his freshman year?

CJ was misused last year--end of story.

He could potentially leave LSU early next year as a junior if he is utilized. The guy is a physical specimen and will be a first day pick in the NFL either next year or the following.

I'd put money on CJ getting a good offer from the draft and taking it, the question is when does he decide to leave. Baseball will be his game.

No dispute here. But, IMO his football potential is vastly underrated on this board.
