Looked back at the 2022 LA class

Sorry for the negative post, but I just took a peek at this class to remind myself who was in it and I gasped when I saw it.
On the positive side, we got the #1 QB, #1 CB, and the 3 big trench men, but it drives me up a damn wall that we let the top 3 WRs go to Bama as well as letting the top 2 RB out of state. Obviously it was unfavorable circumstances with the staff wipe, and I know our WR room is in amazing shape right now but I still have Devonta Smith PTSD.

It hurts to lose that kind of talent but we kept Emory Jones, Wiggins, etc home and that was more important

Could have used another RB and WR for sure but got to move on

Long term those wins will be more impact full then the 3 wrs. Anderson hurts with his versatility in the return game. The qb, lt, LG, de/ dt flex, and barring his health... stud cb, are more premium impact positions. Especially when we are backloading our elite soph class with hopefully a pair of 2 5 stars.. which we'll find out later today (Sampson with Jalen)

Emery Jones, Will Campbell, Bo Bordelon, and Fitz West…. probably the most complete OL haul we had in some time fwiw

Well actually, Jalen Brown was stripped of his 5th star because he committed to LSU.
