Bama fans, probation is a comin'. Watch for it. Remember Stallings? At least HE won a NC for you punks. Saban will get caught, it's only a matter of time that is inflated ego will get Bama in hot water with the NCAA.

oh jesus christ. Did Saban's ego get LSU in trouble when he was here? Anyone with a brain knows its not Saban that would get Bama in trouble, its the boosters that try to get involved.

Something's just not Kosher with this entire Lindsey deal. His parents are LSU grads, his sister attends LSU, LSU is much closer to Houston and the Head Coach is a former Offensive Lineman, yet he picks Bama at the last minute. Doesn't make any sense.
WHY wouldn't he have a legit offer from Miles? For being a former OL himself, Les Miles sure hasn't set the world on fire with a lot of the OL's he's offered and signed. (D'Montreal Wilson, Steven Singleton, Zhamal Thomas, Ernest McCoy, Jarvis Jones, Matt Allen,) Who else am I leaving out?
Anybody know if former LSU TE/OL Kyle Anderson from The Woodlands is friends with Lindsey? Remember, Anderson got kicked off the team for breaking some guys jaw in a bar fight. He went to Miles and asked to be put back on the team and Miles refused. Think he's got some animosity and is bad mouthing LSU to anybody in The Woodlands that will listen. (As Abram Booty did to the Evangels after he left LSU).
I'm just trying to think of any possible reason why he made the decision he did. There's got to be some as yet unknown reason.

It couldn't be that the kid just liked the Alabama opportunity better, right? Can't there be something about the staff, academics, facilities, girls, whatever that he just liked better? Does if always have to be a fricking conspiracy when a kid picks one school instead of another?

LSU already has a Texas OL that is all LSU and is ranked about 30 spots above Lindsey on the Texas Top 100 that is much bigger than Lindsey and he doesn't even have an offer from LSU yet. Does that help you?

For you guys worried about CLM's O-Linemen, we've had the best lines we've had in years since CLM has been here. He knows how to find and coach them up!

I know that Saban is getting some flack from the NCAA about no announcement coming forth until after NSD about the textbook scandal. I've also heard that Saban/Sexton/ Bama AD are being rumored to be involved in a lawsuit about recruiting and it looks like that info is playing out. I hear Saban just found out last week about the lawsuit.
Some of the recruiting violation stuff involves past instances at Gadsen HS.
It's been confirmed from Bama sources that there is going to be some fallout but I'm not sure of any details. It was said that it has to do with Sexton and Saban and Saban feeling like he was double crossed by someone close to him which I assume is Sexton himself.
That is all the spotty information I have heard and I expect more to go public within the next 2 months about the 2 separate issues: Textbook scandal and lawsuits.

Everybody is dogging Lindsay saying this or that. How about Lindsay chose Alabama because he liked Alabama. Some posters are saying he isn't that good. Look at Lindsay's achievements to date:

- 2nd Team Texas 5A All-State
- 2nd Team All Greater Houston
- 2 Time 1st Team All District
- Offered by over 20 major colleges

I live in Lake Sherwood right off of Coursey and Sherwood Forest. I graduated from LSU in 1982. It is just a shame that you beat a kid to death that did not select LSU. This site dogged this kid but if he would have said LSU you would all be kissing his arse. The kid is obviously an outstanding football player or he wouldn't have had over 20 offers. I can't wait to see who you kick the hell out of next and it will happen.
