no sources from me but I refresh 247 constantly, Levi jones just got about 4 CB's to A&M, seemed like we had some steam with him for awhile...

Whenever we miss out on someone,it's always that we were going after others. Never anything to do with the recruit not wanting to go to LSU

Not really, the same thing happened with Shannon Reid recently. He wanted to commit to LSU and he's a 4-star.
They are currently recruiting 2 guys committed(Phillips-OU and Ignont-TN) to other schools harder than they are recruiting uncommitted Levi Jones.
Willie Gay, Jacob Phillips, and Will Ignont all have OV scheduled to LSU next month and have received in-home visits from the staff before the dead period.

I thought LSU wasn't too impressed with Ignont earlier on and passed on him?

I think they weren't overly impressed with his camp performance in the offseason and they had Allen, who may have been a silent commit, higher on the board. But since then Allen committed to Bama and Ignont had a great senior year and also looked great in MS-AL all star game practices.

People just need to relax. Everybody saw what Aranda did with walk-ons and 2 star guys at Wisconsin. I have probably too much faith that Aranda will get whomever and turn them into players, and I do not care about their rankings much at all. On the other hand, I do worry about our QB recruiting and wtf is going on there. LB will work itself out.

According to 247 this morning, Monty Rice was 100% to UGA and LSU was barely on the radar, so there's that.
