Why does Rivers have offers from LSU, Arizona St, Florida St, Memphis, Miss St, NC st, Stanford, Tenn, UCLA, and Vandy

And Oliver has offers from Northwester, Arkansas St, Tulane, Tulsa, and Western kentucky

People on this board act like our staff is so crazy for not taking the instate kid, but no one else really wants oliver either.

There is a reason no big time programs have offered Oliver, don't know why a lot on this board can't realize that.

Maybe there is a reason you dont make a living coaching or recruiting as the college level. With that said, STFU...!!!

Not real solid logic. SO you would rather us have taken a less talented cb from Baton Rouge instead of P Peterson?

Not downing rivers, but if we were going to take two qb's, I don't see the problem in offering Oliver or Prescott.

Way to be a downer in every Rivers or QB thread bro. Scout, Rivals, ESPN, Arizona St., LSU, Florida St., Kentucky, Miss St., N.C. St., Tennessee, Stanford, UCLA, and Vandy all agreed Rivers was better than Oliver. Maybe Northwestern, Western Kentucky, Tulane, Memphis, Tulsa, and You know better than they do.

The fact that we are taking two QB's proves my point. And I don't mean to down the kid at all. I'm actually one of the few positive posters on here. I don't care who offered him. I seriously feel like people just like him because he is Phillip Rivers' brother.

i think some guys need to realize that rivers is a borderline 4 star prospect----rivals rates him as a 5.7 which is the highest 3 star rating they give---with a solid senior year, rivers has a chance for the 4th star----i like this pick-up, but i do think it takes us out of the ely sweepstakes----i guess time will tell---

Rivers will become an AA QB at whatever school he attends after leaving LSU because of not being able to get on the field ahead of ZL!

he won't have to get ahead of ZLee... He's a prospect with a lot of upside that they can bring along slowly. He'll redshirt next year, and be a RSfresh when ZLee is a Jr, so he won't be asked to be a starter possibility until he's an upperclassman

You're just screwing with him, right? Zack Oliver is committed to Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois (suburban Chicago): alma mater of Charleton Heston, Stephen Colbert (after leaving Hampden-Sydney College), etc, etc.
