You couldn't be more wrong about Landon, but please feel free continue to show your simple mindedness if you'd like. I'll just pass along what I know.

Landon has been the leader on a Dutchtown team that has gone 20-0 over the past 2 regular seasons. I've seen many practices and games this year, and Landon is very much a TEAM first player. He and Nickens would lead the team in voluntary, post-practice drills weekly. He volunteered to play RB, since they were lacking offensive stability this year. On his official visits, he would bring other teammates so they could experience how great the recruiting process is. Did not sit and bitch when he was sat for the first half of the EA game, he instead, coached up his replacement after every drive.

I do not know the kid personally, but I do have first hand experience of how great and how frustrating the recruiting process can be and I can tell you, he's handling it very well. He informed everyone over 6 months ago when he would be committing and he has kept his word. Do not get on here and flame because you are starting to get nervous. Bashing him and calling him a potential bust because he MIGHT NOT choose LSU is laughable. It's his life, if he is more comfortable here or there makes no difference in my life or yours.

The kid will be good wherever he goes. He is a natural football player, plain and simple. He will be loved more though if he came to LSU for obvious reasons. In Louisiana we always take care of our own and he is one of us.

All the other nonsense that people are stating has no right being here and they should leave it alone. We are not Bama and that honestly couldn't make me any happier. That is in no way a slight to them, it is just me knowing our roots and what we stand for.

If he commits to Bama, its all because of Lacy, not Saban. He talks to him every night. But word is that he is going to Bama as of this moment. But all that could change if he has a change of heart and he wants to play close to home.

You have no clue what your talking about. Just recently LC said he talks to Eric Reid daily and doesn't talk to Eddie Lacy as much; that would be less than daily. You're a troll. GTFO. Landons going to pick LSU. I think his family and La pride will win in the end.

Why does LC's GF want to go to Bama?

It is kind of weird as it would be basically a random academic choice. Unless LC was going first and she was following.

There isn't anything wrong with Bama as an academic school, but I can't really think of a specific academic reason to just pick them over other schools in the region.

I agree. The insiders I subscribe to both say the GF in the decision is not going to factor as much as on the "Internet message boards" and that LSU is in great shape for LC.

That way I don't go all McKnight up here. Up in here.

I started to question my age and fanhood after that day. It affected me too much. I wasn't Alabama frat kid but a remote might have hit a wall.

I was sorely disappointed that Reggie Bush and USC were not punished at all for McKnights confession that he had illegal contact with Reggie Bush. It took away from the 30 scholarships those assholes will have to give up, that after the appeal, the NCAA did not add on to the sentence and take away one more scholarship per year for McKnight's illegal recruitment by Reggie Bush.

I know I know... IMO that, unfortunately, falls on the coach's lack of creativity

"and when the GF dumps him?"

She won't dump him, he will dump her. Give him two months of being a college athlete, he will realize how much arse he can get and she will be gone.

If I play in the secondary and one of my good friends were playing at Bama, there is no doubt I will be going there. Saban is great and was always great with the secondary. Wasnt til recent that LSU became the school with big time secondary players.
