No Van Pran or Kennedy?

I think if Kennedy wanted to be at LSU he would have committed by now. Bama offer came in and I think he may stay in state.

I have Jaheim Thomas connected with Darrion Henry.

Van Pran situation I think is a lot like the Damieon George one with Zach Evans. I think LSU takes George to get Evans.

If LSU doesnt take Ashaad Clayton then Van Pran goes elsewhere. Probably UGA.

I dont have any inside info but that's just the vibe I get from following their recruitments.

Marlon Martinez can play OC if need be.

They will not turn their back on Berry, you don't have a kid loyal to your program and helping recruit other talent then turn him away at the last minute. If Coach O pull that shite it would ruin his recruiting reputation in Cali for sure.

Also I think Joseph might end up moving back to safety

I’ve already been told by a close friend to Darrion that he wouldn’t go out of state with Paris or Jaheim

15 current commits, 10 to go.

This is who I think we realistically get / want:

4* RB A Johnson (formerly Clayton)
4* OT M Dumervill
3* OG M Merriweather-Lewis
4* OC S Van Pran (more a dream than any real sign)
4* DT J Roy
4* DT J Guillory
4* LB D Kennedy
4* S J Toles
4* S X Alford

Then, for that last spot, we could get a fantasy pick like 5* RB Z Evans or (slightly more likely) 5* RB K Milton or even 5* OT P Johnson (less likely than the other two fantasy picks).

If we miss on the three fantasies, we could still get one of 4* RB K Lee, 4* WR K Moore, 3* OG C Reyes, 3* DL L Lee, 4* S L Ransom, 4* S M Burns, or 4* S J Thompson.

I think a couple guys don’t end up in this class that are currently committed, like always. I think Ford and Berry end up getting processed.

Zach Evans
Clay Caudill
Paris Johnson Jr
Damien George
Jaquelin Roy
Jacobian Guillory
Jalen Lee
Derrion Henry
Demouy Kennedy
Major Burns
Lathan Ransom
Jordan Toles

Could see Caudill being told no if a huge name like Justin Flowe or Kelee Ringo continues to show serious interest.

Two long standing commitments at biggest positions of need. Dont see it.

We'd only have like 3 OL in your scenario, granted 1 being Paris but still, need more linemen

No room for a 4th WR

They need WR.

4 Sr’s. Jefferson who could go pro.

Kirkland, McMath & Jenkins are in between positions. Not sure where Devonta Lee will play either. Moore is a take, they aren’t turning away a kid from a local power. They learned their lesson with Etienne

They're going to give Lee a shot at WR first. Who knows if he'll stay there.

Troy Omeire is mentioned on the Texas and A&M boards as potentially heading to LSU, so it's interesting that there's not much chatter about him here

I'm pretty sure he's staying in state is what he meant, and what OSU insiders have said as well.

I think Thomas has the highest chance to leave, because I'm not sure if his offer from OSU is legit. I think his position is unclear (is he a LB or is he more of a DE with 2 years of growth needed?)

Just my opinion, but not sure LSU would take him without one of the others coming... if Kennedy bails maybe, but maybe not even then

Yea I kind of think some of the schools like him, but only treated him so nice because he was up with Henry and Johnson. He's a good player for sure, but I'm not sure without those guys he is getting official visits at some of these places he has gone.

And Bill Greene said you can write Paris Johnson as in for OSU and you can "write it in ink".

God do i hate when someone guarantees something. It's as bad as the 1000% committed

You can’t split carries between 3+ guys.

Agree it’s certainly not at all likely in the plan to take 3 RBs.

But to your statement above, we have clearly shown the ability to split carries in the past with 3+ RBs.

Hill, Hilliard, Magee, Blue
Fournette, Guice, DW

ETA: may not have right combo, maybe it was Ware in there too.

I would say the have 3 spots left for all positions other than the lines. The need to save at least 7 of the remaining spots to replenish the lines on both sides.

Lmao no 5 more spots for trenches 5 more for others the 5 others again ideally and realistically (Kennedy, Lee, Burns, Ransom, Alford) then 5 trench guys who I think will be SVP, Dumervil, Lee, Roy, Guillory)
