We'd love to have Collins, no doubt, but LC is not a make-or-break recruit for LSU (nor is any one recruit for that matter). If he goes to Bama, we've got studs and will get more studs to take his place.

Dude is the make or break recruit stuff necessary? Can't we just say how much we want LC , and how important he is to LSU? And leave it at that?

I talked to my guy and he said nothing has changed from what he told me Sunday. Said he would be "shocked" if Landon picks Bama.
Same guy told me Kiel committed a week before it was announced.

I wish there was something a little more concrete..substantive.

Not saying I believe you or I dont, or that your source is credible. But how soon ago did he tell you this?
Alot of this has been changing very rapidly and youre one of 1000 people claiming to know smthg. just wondering

Well, it's the truth...LSU is at a point where no single recruit will determine where this program is headed into the future.
Of course our coaches and fans want to get every elite player possible, but you can't get them all, and if you don't get them all it's not the end of the world given the current status of the program.
It's simply the truth. We're loaded, we arguably are the premier program in the country, and will continue to be loaded regardless of what any recruit decides to do.

Called me Sunday night and said Landon was ours. I have all along thought he was going to Bama. Called him this morning to see if anything had changed and he said no.
I didn't post the Kiel thing on the board because he told me a week in advance that it would be public a day or two after Christmas.
I do know that if he picks Bama we were trolled big time

Sounds like not just recruits, but coaches as well, are being told exactly what they want to hear.
I really don't think anyone is being lied to per se, but I do believe that no one has been give a "definitive" answer to the decision that he has made.

Losing LC would not be good because he is an extremely talented player that would definitely help us.
But what is worse is losing a high profile recruiting battle to Nick Saban and Alabama for a Louisiana kid. The visuals on that would be very bad.
