And you know what? We're all talking about him, as is the national media, the other coaches in the SEC and next year's recruits.
Exactly. It's oldest trick in the book. He's doing the same thing Britney Spears has been doing, or the tit-shot at the Superbowl from J. Jackson. i.e. no such think as bad publicity.
The problem is, it builds a house of cards.

I think you guys are giving Kiffin to much credit. Finebaum is qouting some stupid shite this guy has been saying/doing since USC. I can't believe this guy was hired by a program of UTs caliber

As I said in a post about the same time (guess mine didn't have as good a caption!):
This stuff is just getting funnier by the minute. Kiffin really has some big balls!! He's like the rich nerdy kid who moves to the biggest and baddest neighborhood (the SEC) and, rather than trying to slip by under the radar, he promptly starts kicking sand at the biggest bullies on the block (Myer, Saban and now Les). Me thinks these "bullies" will be looking to give the new kid a major butt kicking as soon as possible.
Either way, you do have to love SEC football!! As a Tiger fan living in PAC 1 country, there just isn't anything out here near as interesting or exciting. I can't wait for Tenn to play Fla. and Alabama. Too bad we don't see them anytime soon.
It's called desparate to be relevant again, and Kiffin has sure brought the program a lot of attention in a hurry. However, I don't know that it's the right kind of attention!!
Only time will tell, but we'll see soon enough if his coaching staff full of top recruiters can actually coach.....

No doubt Saban and Meyer run the score on his dumbass. I'm sure Spurrier will too if his offense will produce for him.

Kiffin = young and stupid. He'll learn.
Maybe...but he will be Mike Archer by that point.

Are you this dumb???
Celebrity only requires...well, CELEBRITY to succeed.
Football coaches require WINS. It does a world of good for a celbritard to get pub (good or bad). It gets a football coach NOTHING to be laughed at and seen as a fool.
