I just can't imagine why a QB would want to play for Kelly. The guy is a lunatic.

The time has come to end the misery and self flagellation over Mr. Gunner Kiel. This thing has been put to bed, it's in the can. It's over! It is time to remove ourselves from the funk that has been created over this fiasco. It's time to get our eyes back to the windshield and out of the rear view mirrow. I say end this thread now and make no more mention of that quarterback from Indiana.

Hey, on the bright side, we are finally DONE with the QB controversy that has plagued us for 3 years now, and neither of those would be considered a stud. I like the 3 that we currently have, we have a clear-cut starter, and we are ready to roll. If we sign another, great! If not, we'll get one next year. QB is definately a position where it is possible to have too many. I was excited to have Kiel, but if he's gone, I wish him the best, as long as he isn't playing the Tigers.

Wasnt Ron Powlus as Highly Touted as Gunner. He went to Notre Dame and now hes the QB coach for Fat Charlie at Kansas.

No great loss. Yes it does hurt LSU's prestige and I know many of you think this makes LSU look bad and not a national power, but hey this happens. In all honesty I don't think the offense Les likes to run would be the best fit for him and LSU.

Plus he'll get knocked around at ND. I say if he stays four years he'll be no better than 6-6 versus Michigan, Michigan State, and USC.
