Kailo Moore - West Bolivar

Nearly broke the MS 100m record this year at the State meet and has run a 10.30 in a meet in NOLA.
247 has him down as running a 4.27 (doubt that...but still). LINK
He is a 4 star running back recruit.
Has LSU shown any interest/made an offer to Moore? With LSUs track success, seems like we could be a very viable school for him to be a two sport star.

He's fast, but Damn near all his times this year has no wind index (10.30 100m). That's important in track & field so it's not considered official times. For example Jeryl Brazil times does include wind index

He seems similar in build and speed to Demps and Rainey from UF.

Evidently we are recruiting him as he is another that publically credited the LSU staff for the Mother's Day card to his mom. IIRC correctly he is going to be tough to pull from OM but I may have him confused with the Shumpert kid.
As for the Mother's Day card issue, apparantly it's something that isn't done by other schools or very few of them. It's been getting a ton of press in LSU's favor over the last couple of weeks from kids and sites alike. Seems our staff may have gotten the jump on others with that tactic. We'll see how much it helps.

Not according to anyone I usually go to for that kind of stuff but this time of year it's hard to really keep up with who has been offered and who hasn't.

Kailo Moore Track Stats
Moore beat current LSU Track Sprinter Aaron Ernest last summer in both the 100m and 200m dashes at AAU Nationals to win the Championship in both events.

He's fast but injury prone. Doesn't have very good moves. Overrated IMO. I've seen him in person several times. Smaller Gary James.
