First it was "maybe" then "it did happen" now its "not far fetched".

Guess what. You lost all credibility that you had and I LOVE IT!!

Well did it or didnt it?

I still want proff JM got more fanfare than RR in BR and in Louisiana. I want audio of all radio talk shows and everyone conversation in Louisiana for the past 5 years that included Joe and RR with a report on my desk by 5:00 to prove your stupid suggestions.

You THINK there was a minority who went over the top and IT WOULD NOT SURPRISE YOU if there were threats? Oh ok, now that the source of all your facts is being revealed it's making a lot more sense. I wanna try one.

I think the entire USC fanbase is a bunch of whiny pussies and it would not surprise me if 90% of their male fanbase has expiramented sexually with other men.

Look, now it's a fact!

I don't think every person who chimed in or voiced their thoughts merely "suggested" he go to LSU.
According to Feldman who quoted McKnight: "Joe McKnight and his family told me that LSU fans turned him off to playing for LSU. He resented that they kept telling him what he should do." He says nothing about pre-NSD "veiled threats". Nothing about "over the top" people. Nothing at all.
Nada.

You can try to make this stuff up as you go Tangerine, but this isn't Hollywood. Facts, not fantasy please.

Again, one thing begets another. If McKnight is a truthful reliable character, then Pete Carroll is dirty as hell based on McKnight's statements. Who's the liar McKnight, Carroll, or both?

Exactly. Maybe an LSU fan banged his girlfriend and that pissed him off at LSU. I don't know what turned him off and LSUTANGERINE sure as hell doesn't know what turned him off.

A minority of the fan base-- overzealous, over the top, relentless. That is what turned him off. Not saying he would have went to LSU, but he may have otherwise. That is one thing that turned him off. Get over it.

Okay and too bad for them.

Too the original topic.

I seriously doubt John McKnight would want to go to LSU, if given an offer, after the backlash and treatment Joe got from LSU fans after not going to LSU.

Good, LSU does not need him. I hope he goes to USC.

really? what has he done at USC that is so great? i'm not saying he can't or won't do great things, but it's not like LSU is hurting without him.

And the reason Jonathan McKnight won't go to LSU, or at least the main reason anyway, is because he won't be offered a scholarship. personally I hope he goes to Bama so they can enjoy some of that McKnight Karma. I mean, they didn't start losing to 40 point dogs til he showed up.

Yes and the quote you're referring to doesn't back up the claim you're making. I figured you had some other source.

Go to Rivals and Scout, set them as bookmarked sites, then check back the rest of the year to see if LSU has offered McKnight.

It's ok to just admit you have no idea what really happened with McKnight b/c you weren't anywhere near him or his family during the process. We all think you're a tool anyway so admitting you have no clue isn't really that big of a step.

You're right. They were merely polite suggestions to go to LSU.

So him saying he resented LSU fans telling him what he should do and him receiving threats from people in state are the same thing now? When did that happen?

Again, you can speculate all you want, but you've proven to be an idiot. So your speculation isn't really worth anything. I could sit here and say Pete Carrol drinks goat piss to impress recruits, but that doesn't make it a fact.

No one said that. I said I would not be surprised if there were veiled threats. I said fans who were over the top, overly zealous were the ones who turned him off. If you want to be naive and believe it was the ones who politely suggested, then so be it.

Oh no, you stated that's what McKnight said and that's what was in the book "Meat Market". Only now are you trying to backtrack and say "I wouldn't be surprised if that happened".

I wouldn't be surprised if USC players take steroids. I wouldn't be surprised if half the USC players are in gangs. We can all make those kinds of statements, yours aren't any more legit than the rest of them.
