Big Thanks to Hunter Mickelson who was the cause for Madden changing his mind at the table.

Easterwood said Madden was going to Arkansas

He did say Ky wanted to go to Ole Miss, but his dad wanted him at Arkansas. And in the end his dad would win out.

He got it right the day before Madden committed. I'm not sure I follow you.

Im hearing new news from O'Bryant's AAU coach that LSU may end up being a MAJOR player before this is all said and done. Said he loves the fact 2 of his AAU Teammates are playing at LSU. (Stringer and Courtney) LSU has a lot more to offer him than Ole Miss especially now since Ky Madden committed to Arkansas.

Yea there is definitely some LSU buzz right now. It is going to be real interesting to see how this one ends up.

What a big-time get if we land O'Bryant. Trent is doing exactly we he needs to do if we are to ever become a consistent power in the SEC: HIT MISSISSIPPI AND LOCK-UP LOUISIANA. That'd be three players from Mississippi in two years, and two of the three, Stringer and O'Bryant, are legitimate All-SEC type players.

Buy stock in LSU basketball. It's only a matter of time before Trent gets this program rolling. Throw in Ricardo Gathers and Javon Felix in 2012, and we're sitting nicely.

Madden told Andy Kennedy he was committing to Ole Miss late Tuesday night. Hunter Mickelson sent the text at 10:20 AM. Madden literally changed his mind at the table. He was locked up for Ole Miss an hour before hand. Ky's dad wanted him to go to Arkansas. His mom wanted him to go to Ole Miss and his sister wanted him to go to Baylor.

Things change. At the time, he wasn't seriously considering LSU. His stocked dropped a little, which is good for us.

Easterwood is also the same guy who told Memphis fans that Quincy Miller was a silent to Josh Pastner. Of course, they never played much of a role in his recruitment. Baylor, Louisville, Duke, Illinois, and Kentucky were all bigger players.

Kind of like Marc Maggard, he says a lot of shite, and every now and then, it's true.

I don't know anything about O'Bryant, but it does seem like Tyler Adams is giving Georgetown and MSU a very close second look.
