Brother Abram was actually telling recruits NOT to come to LSU during his last season here, before quitting. We had no chance at signing JDB.

Yeah he was overrated alright. Was the starting QB at the Best College football program in the nation for 2 years and he won 2 Rose Bowls as a starting QB. Now he is a back up QB in the NFL. Yeah he was overrated for sure.

College careers define NFL success by no means. While only starting two games at LSU, RP has a NC ring.

I agree with you that College Careers are totally seperate from NFL careers and success. But you could say the same thing for John David since he was the starting QB at USC for 2 years and has 2 National Championship rings from 2003 and 2004.

tigerjake the thing I can't understand is how can someone be overrated who was 20-3, 9-0 against Top 25 Teams, winner of 2 Rose Bowls, All Pac Ten QB, Rose Bowl record holder for career TD's, threw for 6,000+ yards and is in the Top 5 of most of USC Passing records as a starting QB in Major College football and now playing in the NFL be called overrated?
