2007 played in both the SECCG & the National Championship, winning both. More games, which completely invalidates your YPP stat.

oh and..boom

That's misinformation, Cock. We only played 1 more game in 2007 than in 2006, not more games.

Miles recruits for LSU, one of the 2 teams in the country to win 2 BCS national title games in the BCS era. It's not like he's recruiting for Ball State. We should have been in a better position the past 2 years with our Qb's than we were. But, again, I'm playing Cock's game. If it's fair to criticize other coaches for not recruiting better if they have mediocre QB's, it's certainly fair to criticize Miles for the same thing.

You're playing my game huh? You're failing badly. Miles won one of those "BCS National titles games" you boast about. It's the irony that goes with being a Negatiger. You have a similiar inability to stay on topic, that SlowFlowPro suffers from. You can't deal with reality, so you create a new one.

LSU 2007 played in the SECCG & the National Championship.

Did LSU 2006 play in either of these post season games?

You silly arse internet whores are too much! YPG comparisons from season to season vary due to different schedules and players from one year to the next etc.
If Rocket and SFP were to play aginst each other there wouldn't be a lick passed.

Fisher and Crowton were both good OCs when they had a QB that had experience and understood the mental part of the game.
FSU better judge of coaches than Rocket,SFP and you X-Box playing Rantards. Same with Maryland.
Rocket what is your football pedigree? How about yours SFP?

I'm succeeding like a champion. I'm using your criticisms that you have used before for other coaches against Miles and am gauging how you react and you don't like it. This is more about your double standards than Miles.

I sympathize with you. I can understand how you don't like your double standards being challenged.

I'm dealing with reality. I'm dealing with the reality of our offense and QB play the past 2 years. We should have recruited better at the QB position.

I didn't argue that.

No. I'm saying we played in 13 games in 2006 and 14 in 2007. Your post indicated that we played more than one game in 2007 than we did in 2006 and that is misinformation.

Your post is something an 8 year old would make and is not worthy of a response. Please tell me you are old enough to drive a car.

Like a Champ?

No in fact, you fallen into SlowFlowPro Namby Pambyism. Get a grip Rock! Step up your game! What would the Nature Boy & Conway say about you becoming a SLP type of garden variety Negatiger?

There is no double standard regarding Miles. Why would there be? The results of his 62-17 record at LSU speaks for itself.

Three different 1,000 yard rushers in 4 years, that's rare. He recruited & signed 2 ranked QBs or 2011. He made a change, he wasn't satified with Mr. Bubbles or the Crow, even though he posted an 11-2 record. Perhaps you should make a similar effort in your postings.

Your posting semantics. 2006 played Fat Bastard Charlie Weiss & Notre Dame. Afterwards you & the SLP complained how LSU overmatched Notre Dame in talent.

Apparently you've revised your story & now believe they were the same level of competition as SEC East Champs Tennessee & #1 Ohio State, with the #1 ranked defense.

no, 2006 LSU, with the same # of regular season losses and a much harder SOS during the regular season, did not back into the SEC title game and national title game

and 2006 had 4 road games against ranked opponents, 2 vs top-10 teams (1 being the national champ)

and yet it still had a higher ypp than 2007

fisher developed QBs to this point

crowton has never shown that ability

Why bring up Hawaii?

Yes it does. Different number of games, different team & different coaches, different competition.

sammich/tigertap, let me ask you 2 questions

1. which team had more regular season losses: 2006 LSU or 2007 LSU?

2. which team had the harder regular season SOS: 2006 LSU or 2007 LSU?

The one that actually played the SEC East Champs & #1 Ohio State, along with a blowout win over #9 ranked Virginia Tech.
