Yes and Sumlin supposedly got ugly hate racist letters in the mail. Guess what, it all died down quickly and quietly. Word is in CS, after investigations, his wife was the culprit to get fans to feel sorry that he was on the hot seat.

I call bullshite on this. Clyde played in the SEC against Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Auburn, A&M and other SEC competition plus Texas. Etienne faced 1 ranked team in his regular season #23 UVA in addition to Wake Forest, Duke, NCState, Ga Tech, FSU, and other ACC teams. The competition was so different that you can't truly get an accurate comparison. CEH was the 32nd pick in the Draft. I seriously doubt Etienne is a 1st round draft choice in the next draft.

CEH wasn’t a “settle”. He was already committed (albeit later recommit to recommit). We chased Akers and not Etienne. We later tried to recruit him but he had made decision to leave state by that point.
