Yeah, too bad we had to SETTLE for this guy named Clyde Edwards-Helaire.

We can imagine all we want, bottom line is never worry about the ones you DIDN'T get, You coach the guys that Wants to be here. And it's not like Clemson recruited Etienne for a length of time, they came in on the back end and he was in his feelings and went there. More Power to him. I'll take Clyde everyday, all day, and twice on Sundays.

That's fine, but it wasn't an either/or with Clyde and Akers or Etienne.

They could have had them both.

And yet only ONE of them CHOSE to come to LSU and compete for the RB job. I'll take the one that chose to come compete.

It was said during the Natty, by Fowler, who gives a shite, he was also harassed by Shelvin, Queen, and Chassion. Didn’t hear it actually saw it with my own 2 eyes.

Clyde would have started and Etienne would have had spot duty. It worked out for LSU and that's all that matters to me.

while i agree with having clyde, clyde is gone now and etinne is back, that would have been an ideal situation.

But but but we offered too late! (A week before Clemson, who didn't offer until they lost a commit)

I think we will be just fine with Ty-Davis, Emery and Curry. Again Etienne had a chance to be here. Clemson offered him AFTER LSU did. So, I will take what we have.

Yep, except one got asshurt he didn’t get his offer when he thought he should have gotten it and gave the excuse that LSU waited too long, only to choose a school that offered him even later than we did and only after their longtime running back recruit decommitted.

He ran for 3k yards as a jr. he should have gotten an offer earlier. He was just as good if not better than Clyde

So it’s ok fo Clemson to not make him a priority until they miss on their higher ranked back but not LSU. Got it.

It’s a home state thing. Pretty easy to understand with how LSU recruits Louisiana

He wasn’t playing high school ball in Clemsons backyard.

It worked out for everyone.

Both CEH and Etienne have rings. CEH will be remembered as a fantastic LSU RB and was a first round pick (to the defending champs!). Etienne will be remembered as a fantastic Clemson RB and will be a first or second day pick in April 2021.

Akers played for shite FSU teams, but was a second round pick for an offensive savant.

Pretty much yes. Hes a Louisiana kid and got tired of waiting on LSU, then an elite program that he wasn't expecting an offer from came in. Perception.

Will he renounce his brother’s embarrassing statement that Clemson is the real deaf valley. Lol
