Driskel has all the physical tools as a passer plus he's got some quicks. Right now, he's a MUCH better passer on the run than in the pocket.
Understandable considering his o-line in HS was so terrible that he never got to spend much time in the pocket.

Insane talent.Definitely worthy of his top QB ranking based on potential.Still not convinced he will ever live up to it but if he does he's gonna be scary in that offense.

Really, the guy reminds me of Nuke Laloush all the way. Great athlete with physical tools, but a ten cent head. He made some god awful "reads". Just think his first year in a college games, he is going to continue to throw lots of INTs. He will make some good passes as well, but there will be little in between great and really horrible.

He looked extremely comfortable & natural throwing & running in a pro-style formation last night. He is a true playmaker, no doubt.
I don't want to imagine facing him 3 years from now in Weis' system when Driskel will be at his best.
But then again, Mett will be in his 3rd year under Gruden.

Jeff Driskel won the Elite 11 competition against all the top qbs in passing skills and knowledge. Very bright dedicated young man. You cant predict how high school players will perform in college but he does hav the skillset to be very good.
