how did he move up after sitting out a season but DeAngelo Benton decreased every year since High school in the rankings

i'm pretty positive Benton went from 4 stars as a senior to 5 stars as a prep schooler.

Looks pretty comparative to Brandon Worle but we all know how that goes

Jalston Fowler is the same rating as Corey Grant who has world class speed.

Who cares if how highly ranked the kid is all that matters is what he does when he gets to the campus

Says the guy who is part of the fanbase that makes recruiting national championship t-shirts.

Give me a break. You know you masturbate to Rivals star rankings just like every other BAMA fan.

I think I have to side with CPA on this one- he (Fowler) has not played in two years? Was offered one schollie by S. Carolina last year?

Prospect #1:
Ht: 6-foot-1
Wt: 240 lbs
Forty: 4.62 secs

Interest from:
LSU, Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Virgina Tech, Oklahoma St.

Prospect #2:

Ht: 6-foot-0
Wt: 240 lbs
Forty: 4.8 secs

Interest from:
Alabama, South Carolina, South Alabama

Which one do you think is a 'better' prospect?

Didn't they change a Bama tackle to a guard once and raise his ranking?

No, they moved a guard to center, a position he had never played in his life and never will. But hey, Rivals said he was the #1 Center in America. Even the player, Barrett, laughed at that one.

Why get so worked over thus stuff. If the kid supposedly stinks, be happy he signed with Bama.

To be honest I could care less how many stars the kid has. I know for a fact he is going to be a good one thats all that matters, if you watch film of him you would say the same thing also. I probably wouldnt have put him as a 4 star just because he isnt playing football this season.

as long as you can sniff glue and eat crayons, Rivals will hire you to evaluate prospects.

That is fine, Rate all of Alabama's players real high, give them 3 time recruiting champions and when they go to the Peach Bowl, Nick Saban will be a underachiever and a failure.

Maybe these Alabama recruits are legitimately good. We haven't seen them on the field too much.
