IMO this is the best tape of the 2016 class of QBs besides maybe Cole Kelly. None of this, throw a screen pass for a TD. Legit dual threat, SEC caliber arm, great size, awareness, ability to throw on the run, and most importantly a straight up baller. Dude can do it all. Better than Shea but never going to knock our commit in Franks. Franks is good but the film proves themselves and this guy is better. Would love to have him even though the 2016 class is loaded at QBs.

People need to take into account this is a HIGHLIGHT tape....it's only gonna show you the good plays. An just like someone else said....if Shea was commited to LSU nobody would be saying anything about this kid being better. Eason isn't going to LSU...if y'all are wanting to try an flip a QB from another school why not go after Patterson who isn't even commited to a school yet. Some LSU fans are so wishy washy and let there feelings get in the way of using logic. Smh

RP was very good vs Tennessee. Besides RP I don't think we have had a high level dual threat qb. Harris has a lot of talent tho so hopefully he will get a shot this year.

You do realize a dual threat doesn't have to be black, correct? Mauck and Flynn both could run and did so quite often. Sure they toned it down the more games under their belt but they were DT.

I didn't see much of Mauck I would of been a kid. & there are white guys that are dual threats. Flynn was mobile but not a true dual threat. RP was the dual threat of the 2 & thats why he played & ran most of the designed qb runs.

Exactly. But Mauck was definately a dual threat qb. He and Herb were the only two I've seen successful at LSU

Why are all LSU fans so horny about Shea Patterson. He's a damn good QB but nothing we haven't had or seen before. Id like to see a good QB that'll fit in our system and make the routine plays. We don't need the next JohnnyFootball to win a championship. I like Franks but Eason is better as of right now, just from film. Not saying we should try and flip him but I'd hate to play this guy in 3-4 years.

You guys are RETARDED! People want Patterson cause he is an INSTATE 5* QB....if you haven't noticed Louisiana doesn't have those very often. So when we do people want to get him.

He lives in Shreveport and is from Texas. Not exactly running deep with Louisiana ties.
