CPA is like a kid going to a candy store. He can't contain
his excitment. I have had exchanges with him because he knows
someone in the know at AU. He came out with the Henderson going to AU because
one of the AU pay site recruiter, I mean reporter, tried to
get LS to call the big lineman and pull him to AU because SH would
not give the AU coaches a chance. Saban was right about those reporters
not having NCAA rules to curtail their selling to a recruit to the college
the rep. I will say the UT recruitors/reporters were the worst about it at first.
As for my sig picture well that was added some time ago, but if
you guys must know in March of '08 I purchased a purple
#15 LSU jersey. I believe I posted it at the time and I
suggested that you guys do likewise at that time. Now almost two years
later I know where LS is going even less because Lache has seen
what the world has to offer as far as college football teams
are concerned. Now my sig quote had to change because
Porter is no longer an LSU coach. So I decided to
quote something I said about the LSU fans because very few teams
can match the electricty of a Saturday night in Tiger Stadium when those
four notes are played by the Great LSU Band. I am suprised no one noticed
the picture earlier. I would not put to much into the meaning of my sig.
All I was doing was getting the feel of how it could have looked on a Saturday
Night in Tiger Stadium. Sorry to start Mardi Gras early.

Born, people look for anything to grab to in laches recruitment. We want him badly but I think most of us have accepted the fact that if we are a factor, we aren't a big one. My moment of truth was when we accepted Gores pledge, he is in the same mold as Lache just without that top end speed. I am absolutely pumped about LSU's RB class and the future of the posistion at LSU. Also, I wish Lache much luck wherever he attends college, not just in football but in the classroom and personal development. He seems like a respectful young man and just like his buddy Trovon it seems he let LSU know his intentions lie elsewhere early enough to allow them to still fashion a very good class

Thanks for the clarification.

LS has run his recruiting about as well as could be expected from someone of his status. I am impressed. In the end, he will go where he believes he fits in and will see the most playing time IMO. I doubt that will be LSU, but if not I look forward to watching him wherever he goes.

Born, this is true.
In an earlier post you said he and his Auburn contact both have trouble keeping secrets.
I also believe this is true.
Way back before Trovon committed, CPA posted something on the SEC Rant about how he and a running back (not Lache) were silent commits and were recruiting for Auburn.
His contact must read the board too and must have called and told him to delete it as the post disappeared a few minutes later.
I flamed the Auburn fans in another post after that asking if Trovon was a "Janzen Jackson" type commit who was going to lead other SEC teams on to keep them from signing other receivers.
CPA never answered but some of the other guys said Chizik wouldn't do that.
I told them he might not, but I wouldn't past the duo of Trooper & Looper.
Trovon came out and committed to them a few weeks later. I still think the Auburn staff was trying to get him to do the Janzen thing but he was above doing it.
The point of this post is to show that CPA may have an "inside" Auburn contact so he may know something about what the staff has been told.

So what does Born know about the girlfriend/fiance rumor?
If that is legit, then I don't see him going far away

Sonny thinks LS is going to USC, so, I will just forget about LS for now, until I hear a reason to be excited about him choosing LSU..
I think we are fine at RB...with ford, ware, and Hillard.
Of course I want Lache, but he doesn't seem to be on board with LSU as he once was thought to be..
Maybe Frank Wilson can pull some magic again?

That about sums it up right there. You spoke in past tense as if it was a done deal.
I want to personally thank you for your attempts and repersentation of LSU to LS. I know you cant tell us everything but I know there is more than meets the eyes and it must be a great burden to carry that information.
I like Gore too but Seastunk is a game changer that will lead a team to the ship.
