It appears as though Michael Trigg will/wants to take another visit to LSU

Nice! Hope this weekend helped us seal the deal or at the very least put us in the lead with many of these guys.

I want Trigg almost as bad as Leigh

I feel more confident in Leigh than just about anyone remaining on board. Just don’t think you visit 4-5 times (especially from VA) without being extremely serious!

I dont see lsu taking two te in this class

Yeah, I just don’t see how you make 2 TEs work in this class.

Everything I’ve read/heard is that the staff definitely wants two (2) TEs this class, as depth is considered an issue next year. Maybe I’m wrong, but I think we push hard for Trigg

From Triggs highlight film he can star at several positions.
He is a take IMO.

The staff definitely wants two TEs this class. Trigg is a priority, which is why he was there this weekend

Definitely appears to be the case, if it's Trigg or someone else they believe can play like Trigg.
I've just about given up on figuring how we are gonna fit everyone in. Seems inevitable a guy or two will be dropped if we land who we want. The new LB offer really threw a wrench in the thought process.

I get it and think Triggs a solid TE but there’s only so many spots left. If you take him that puts the current commits plus him at 19 verbals.
20. Sage Ryan
21. B. Thomas Jr
22. Leigh
23. Maason Smith
24. Another OL
25. Another OL
26. Potentially Foreman
And I say all this knowing that they want to take another RB in this class too... I also think they should add another S after Sage Ryan. I view the OL and S depth as being more valuable than adding another TE and even another RB to this class. That’s just my opinion but the #s will be tight with who’s left on the board.

Think we’ll take Trigg before another RB. Another running back would be nice, but Trigg would have a chance to come in and compete for time right away

I’m worried about Thomas making it here.
Not being here this weekend and hearing something through his parents via work really starting to make me wonder

If he chooses to go to Bama or another SEC schools then so be it. Wr recruiting has never been not will ever be a issue here. Another wr of comparable statistical potential can be had at any time. Thomas iss near elite and a guy we really want but his spot isn't necessary nor back breaking to the class. Would suck to lose him though.

Yep, agreed. And besides Byrd, I was most surprised and excited to hear of Trigg visiting. Feel like it greatly increases our chances with him!

I’m with you, numbers probably going to be tight (we hope anyway, as that’s a good sign). For starters, I think they are going to take best available when it comes to last three (3) spots or so (probably an obvious take), but my guess is we only end up with 3 OL (Dellinger, Leigh & Kimo would be my guess), then either LB/S, and either TE/RB. This is assuming Sage, Leigh, Maason, and Thomas (19-22) and that we end up with 25 commits in total. Just my two cents.

Agree on Thomas Jr. LSUFANVA. Would love to have him and the coaches will definitely have a spot for him, but I never worry about LSU with skill position guys.
Interestingly, LSU currently has only 8 scholarship WR's by my count, which is the lowest total I can recall since following LSU recruiting going into a season.
I find it funny that with Miles at the helm LSU typically had 11-13 scholarship WR's on the roster and only used 2-3 to any real degree. Now you have O going pass happy and only having 8-10 on his roster the past 2 years and using so many of them.
Just find that kind of funny.

It is strange. Wrs are just so easy to come by in terms of production. Some guys are better talents and potentially stars but from a production standpoint numbers are easy to find and replace whether by committee or one singular guy
