social media and the natural inclination for entertainers (which is what football players essentially are) introduces much drama to the recruiting process. everyone's a star and plays "look at me" games. they are kids and they are playing their cards because they have them to play. us fans are the one's they are playing to as there is always some of us to lap up their act and celebrate or be butthurt depending on their decision. in other words, they are playing US.

it's easy to hate the way it works these days. but, in the final analysis, LSU has a hell of a lot to offer and we will get our share of the cream of the crop as long as our coaching staff recruits their asses off. and they do. a lot of these kids are enamored with the glamor of playing out of state. the same is true with OOS guys we sign. it is what it is; recruiting is a regional and often a national game now.

Let me put it this way, this young man was being bombarded by Nick Saban and Lane Kiffin all last week trying to get an OV from him. Know where he went? BR to help recruit others on their OV's to LSU.
Is that solid enough???
