My best friends father is a Gridiron Club board member and mentioned a kid by the name of Anthony Alford (QB) that Miles really wants to sign. Can anyone provide any information about this kid? Rumor has it that he loves LSU and we have a great chance at signing him. Sorry if this is Germans but I usually am on thr Rant or the TE. Thanks... I'll hang up and listen.

Has a hell of an arm, but is a pro baseball prospect.

Probably one of the two best players in Mississippi this year (along with Antonio Connor, junior at SPHS). But like others have said, he's also a high top-100 baseball prospect.

We love him but he is such a great baseball prospect that no one thinks he will ever see a college campus. We don't want to be burned again like we were by Zach Lee.

The new MLB labor agreement just came out and it's very strict on over slotting and money disbursement for draft picks. I would not be surprised if many of this dual sport guys take the college route in hopes of possibly increasing their earning potential via football instead of taking the quick money.

I think this is the one year we could take a chance at a guy like Alford. The only other QB we have any real shot at currently is Jeremy Liggins. Mett will be the big time starter for the next two years with Randall as the mobile QB option for then, and then it turns to either Randall or Rivers afterwards (Jefferson/Lee part II anyone?).
Is Liggins, who will be a HUGE project (pun intended), a guy that we really need to take here or do we just focus on taking two guys next year?

What will Rivers end up being?
