Yeah ok you got me there he was a 4 star but he was a 3 star almost until signing day but he almost went under the radar because we were looking at higher rated guys. He came to camp and showed out and we offered, kind of the same situation as the Honey Badger. My point is weve had plenty of highly ranked receivers who never lived up to expectations mostly because of underwhelming QB play and we've had low ranked WRs that became stars because they had great QBs. My point is if we get the right QB our WRs will be fine. He had Tre Harris as his QB in high school (who we didn't recruit hard at all) and didn't get much exposure. Imagine having those two guys on the same team with a decent QB. They would've both been 5star WR. With good QBs they're both 1st round WRs. Do you see where I'm going with this?

quote:If Tre Harris would not have been the QB Nabers would. Louisiana football puts the best athlete at QB. This is another topic but this is what people are pushing in college now and in the NFL. That’s why QB play is shite. QB play has been dumbed down and Tom Brady agrees.

Daniels actually has a COVID year if he wants it, as well.
False. He played in 2020 for Liberty (that in essence is the Covid year that does not count against his 5 yrs to play 4). He has played in games in 4 additional years 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. However, he only played in 4 games due to injury in 2022 and should be eligible to receive a red-shirt for that season or at a minimum, he will have an argument for a medical waiver for that season and a possible additional year of competition.

Bigger issue is who can block to give him time to throw the ball

He's going to have 3 guys come with him: Moore, Meadows, and Francis.
