I've clicked alot of the links, but they're all discussing his potential on the football field; I can't find any assessment of his B-ball skills...

And, realistically, if he's playing football in the fall (and hopefully well into January!), how much time would he have for basketball when the seasons overlap? Would he have to wait for football season to end before beginning to practice with the basketball team? Or does anyone believe he will have any availability or participation w/ BB team in November & December?

What are the dates that B-ball practice and that season begins?

He physically matured earlier than most and was considered top 30 a couple of years ago, he has highlight tapes as an 8th grader. I think right now he's still top 150 on the Future150 site.

He's gonna have to play football only if he wants to start for LSU/DBU in the secondary. His basketball dreams aren't going to last very long. Bet.

Would expect he will join basketball team in January

Will offered him some time back, so he can play. Also has offers from Maryland and
St. John’s

Even if he only ends up providing tourney depth, he basically is free so how could it turn out poorly?

ETA: Really all our coaches should be working together to help each other out because for some kids the ability to play for more than 1 top 10-15 program might allow us benefits over other schools. That's a recruiting edge for coach O.

I would like to think our ability to produce in the three major sports helped with our two recent 2 sport signings/commitments. Also nice that baseball and basketball are getting quality players with no scholarships used.

Hopefully we can market this even better for potential 2 sport athletes.

I would certainly hope that the coaches are working together for the advantage of LSU. I wouldn’t be surprised if O asked WW to make an offer (or vice versa). This helps get the LSU brand in the mind of a dual-sport recruit even more. And realistically many, if not the majority, of the top HS athletes are stars in more than one sport in HS.
