if valentine comes i think mcdowell goes elsewhere

so you don't think we get Adoree?

I think it's closer than many think, but that USCw pull is hard to fight. He didn't seem overwhelmed by the Sark hire, but he's still there all the time (of course, it is close, too.)
Do we still have a chance? I think so. Am I counting on him for this class? No.
He would be another great all around athlete, who could be an answer in the return game, as well as one of those dual threat space players.

there's a shot...but I just don't see us pulling him. Jmo though.

Would love him in our class, I'm not gonna hold my breath though.
Could you imagine if we landed all those guys?

I just don't get the whole McDowell thing. I think we could get him if we really pressed, but it seems we haven't tried real hard with him. Either they feel better about someone else or just aren't as high on him.

I don't think McDowell is here regardless if Valentine joins or not. The staff has really cooled on him. I think he is too much of a tweener and difficult to find where he projects. He could be solid as the J.C. Copeland-esque fullback but I don't think he would take that with d-line offers on the table

Think McDowell and Jackson go elsewhere.
Everyone else on that list I think ends up at LSU.
There is still a small but fair chance Clark ends up at OU IMO.

Seems like our 'potenial' numbers are going in the wrong direction on defense.

I'm in the Adoree comes here group. He doesn't really have that Cali connection that most of those recruits do so staying on the West Coast isn't as big a deal to him as most
It would be a lot nicer if we had Dupre as a commitment before NSD in this class so he could help with Adoree since they seem to have connected very well on Adoree's official visit

Meh...that's how it is every year. We talk about guys we could potentially get, but we never get everyone we want.

And you always have to count on a Brick/Chavis NSD surprise and there are a few d-line recruits that could fall into that category
I'm pretty sure it's happened every year for like the past 4 years

Malik McDowell and Breeland Speaks are those guys for me...chances are slim, but maybe, just maybe.

hoping we do land guys like Young, Adoree, and Valentine; but those are the ones i hear little about in regards to which way they are leaning. with adoree only showing 2% on 247 there isnt much indication there that he'll end up here

2013 - Bower
2012 - Corey Thompson/Kwon
2011 - No one
2010 - Ego/Copeland
2009 - Sonic Sam
There's always recruits that come out of nowhere really and join this class
I truly think Lorenzo Carter could be on that list as well. He seems to really like Brick and it feels a lot like the Bower and Montgomery scenarios
