CBS
quote:

Schools can share as much as $20.5 million of their revenues with players during the upcoming academic year. The settlement also includes $2.8 billion in back payments for athletes who competed between 2016 and 2024. The new revenue-sharing cap will increase by at least 4% each year during the 10-year agreement.

Roster limits look to have a grandfather clause associated. Not sure how long that works for or who is grandfathered in.

This can't be legally enforced. I don't see how anyone is going to pay attention to this tbh. They can't cap their earnings and schools are just going to ignore this and do whatever they want. The NCAA has no enforcement here. There's no collective bargaining agreement in place so how can they cap this legally? Schools are going to laugh at the NCAA and just give them NIL deals through the roof. Easy to get around this.

You want this fixed? Get rid of the NCAA and push collective bargaining agreements.

As far as recruiting….. as we move forward….

The Genie is out of the Bottle Now.
You can’t put it back in the bottle and control this monster.

Players have been paid PUBLICALLY and the Players FAMILIES will NOT give these dollars up !!!!

What you can’t pay athletes ABOVE the Table… they will be paid BELOW the Table !!

Top schools with money will not relinquish their advantage in recruiting.
