I dont think u guys realize that recruiting RN doesnt negatively impact herron (thus its not a gamble). U play 4 d lineman at a time. This isnt like recruiting another qb when u have only already on board. RN will benefit herron and vice versa.

Yes and why wouldn't you want to play next to the very best? That way your not double teamed as much. Why do you think the guy from San Fran gets so many sacks? Justin Tuck is why. FH has been playing football long enough to know he only benifits from having the best players lined up next to him.

I'm hearing that Herron is a longshot for UT, but Porter gave it his best. Porter's dividends will be in 2014. Herron is probably a better fit for LSU unless he grows into being a DT. Against Big 12 offenses, I don't think I'd classify him as a 5 * DE. Doesn't seem to have terrific burst, but I've only seen 1 highlight vid.
