Finley is the best QB in Louisiana with 5 star ability. He just plays on a shitty team. If he played for Catholic high or West Monroe y'all wouldn't want Haynes King over him. Stop hating on our home grown talent.

I'd definitely want Haynes and Finley but it looks as Finley is going to start looking around.

Finley has an incredible arm. King is above Finley in every other category. Nobody is hating on home grown talent. This has nothing to do with what team he's on. That's absolutely ridiculous.

5* ability yet heard a 3* on the most respected rankings site out there. It's not hate for an instate kid, it's wanting the best players on our team in order to win. Nothing more, nothing less. In fact, most on this board have likely been guilty of overrating instate kids because they're instate in many instances. I want the best players in the country for LSU. Don't care what state they're from.

Finley has been MVP and one of the best major football camp performers in the off-season. He steady improving his claim as one of the best QB's in the country. What's best for u might not be what's best for LSU. Once again, quit hating on our home grown talent.

Dont really want Max that badly. If we want 2 ill take he or Finley, after King. I prefer Max slightly because of his pedigree and training at the position. My mind can be changed.
As for all these camps Finley has been doing well at, good for him. Have said i hope he continues to do well. That said, King has been great at all of his and has risen from unranked to #43 to #31 on the same site that has Finley a 3*. Why hasnt Finley risen? Also those camps that are spoken of in favor of Finley? Max Johnson has been killing those since he was in 8th grade. For some reason that hasnt translated to better than a 39% completion percentage on friday nights. Those camps are just one tool of many that should be used to evaluate kids not the end all be all.
Take King and let the other 2 do what they may. If one or both stick around then great. If one or both decide to move on, dont let the door hit you on the way out. Not gonna be mad at either kid for doing whats in their best interest. Also not gonna be mad at the staff for doing whats in theirs.
