Blacknall = KBoone, IMO

That's not a bad comparison at all. I think Blacknall is a little more athletic. Boone has been a pretty solid contributor. Always thought he would get a shot at returner but I guess with Mathieu and Beckham, those opportunities are limited

Signing extra wide receivers is not a bad thing even if we don't go 5 wide all the time and I don't think it drives these kids off. There will be times that we will go 5 wide, guys will get hurt and guys will get tired. Having elite backup receivers is a good thing and playing for a team like LSU always gives them a chance to play and impress for the next level.

These guys know that and with the way the class is shaping up I believe they are also seeing the type of team they can put together for a few years in Death Valley. Everyone likes to win and if an extra wide out helps then I'm pretty sure they are good with that.

Also, no one, regardless of where they are recruited, is guaranteed a spot on the team. The 2 star can start over the 5 star if he proves it on the field.

We'll know soon enough.

Maybe

Don't like putting shite out there when it was said as maybe and was told to keep it to myself.
That is like people that start threads saying someone is commited then deletes the thread and says: "oops".

These kids are making life changing decisions and sometimes they say something then change their minds.
I respect that and I respect their privacy when they are on the fence about these decisions.
We will all know in due time.

IMO Cameron Sims would normally be a 1rst tier recruit but in a class like this with the other WR we are recruiting, it stinks knowing if he was in a class any other year, he'd probably get an offer

If Blacknall goes elsewhere Gage would be a great replacement. Has even more potential. Plus with Gage being able to play in the secondary or receiver the coaches could maybe move Voorhies to offense. He can play receiver and take occasional snaps rushing like Shep did.
