It’s already been made public. Quad lit the place on fire today

May I ask a question? As someone who saw Quad throw at both LSU and Bama, did you see a difference in what he was asked to do by both coaching staff's and how well he performed for both?

The reason I ask is because I'm curious if he did markedly better at Bama or do we still have the same issues identifying QB talent as we've always had? Thanks CoachJ...

It would definitely complete the roller coaster that has been this thread.

Quad went from largely unknown
to some posters proclaiming he is the next big QB, LSU needs him
then LSU didn't offer, so he wasn't SEC caliber in the first place
and now a Bama offer

This about sums it up...

Dak Prescott wasn't good enough either

Everyone misses. Why didn't the Great Satan recruit him? And that was a previous staff.

I've got nothing against Quad. In fact, I hope he blows up and gets an LSU offer, if he still wants one, and turns out great.

We got your point the first time. Please leave. Why cause I won't bow down to Quad, and or his coach. Cause I will not dog LSU coaches for not offering yall's feel good story. I think I'm good.

Lets take a look Quad vs Lance Legendre. Neither has a LSU offer. Lance plays in state at Warren Easton in New Orleans:

Quad is ranked the number 1,245th player in the nation according to 247 composite

Lance is ranked the number 234th player in the nation and is a 4 star according to the 247 composite.

Quad's offer list via 247: Rutgers, Vanderbilt, Bowling green, UAB, Troy, ULL, and Florida Atlantic, and today Alabama.

Lance's offer list via 247: Currently committed to Kansas which is a power 5 school: Has offers from the following teams in the SEC: Alabama, Georgia, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Texas A&M. Also has offers from Florida St, and Oklahoma St.

Most on here will say Lance's Alabama offer is not committable. So if you honestly believe that than what makes you think Quad's Bama offer is committable?

Also most on here would take Quad over Lance, and that just blows my mind. As to me it's really no doubt who is better as of right now.

That’s not the point of this thread. And you know it. Move along.

The uncomittable offer in college football is the dumbest thing ever.

Just because people are rooting for Quad doesn’t mean this is the case. There’s no need to continue to post your negative thoughts about Quad on here, a-hole.

Enough with the feel good story though man, this is a board to talk about LSU recruiting is it not?

This thread started on a different trajectory. If he wants to compare with other quarterbacks, just start a new thread.

I get it, but it almost has zero relevance to LSU other than the feel good story

If you don't like reading it, then GTFO.

It is really not that difficult to simply not click on a thread.

The story isn’t over. I do agree when he commits then the thread should be shuttered.

Why do you have a problem with me wanting the thread to be moved to the SEC Recruiting board where it belongs?

Why do you have a problem with one of the coolest, most informative, threads the recruiting board has ever seen?

Whether you want Quad at LSU, or don't think he belongs, the fact is that this has been a solid thread with some rare inside tidbits from Coach (like him or not).

If you don't like that, don't open the thread.

CoachJ
why does he want to commit so soon? why not play some games his senior season and show off his talent? more and more offers will come.

all in all..If LSU is his Dream school and loves LSU he might have been a lot more nervous when he threw and performed at LSU.
He goes to Bama and maybe he is more relaxed and just throws and performs better.
Plus LSU sucks at seeing good QB's anyways.

I think Quad did good at the LSU camp. Particularly in the Second half. He did Great at the Bama Camp.

This is just my opinion, and I don't know the entire situation, but I think committing this early would be a huge mistake for this kid.

He has had interest from smaller schools. He holds a Vandy offer. He apparently now holds a Bama offer (whether it's commitable or not can be debated). Michigan showed interest, LSU showed interest. It seems as time goes on the offers are getting bigger.

I understand wanting to get it over with before football season, but if Quad does this he is taking a lot away from himself in my opinion.

It just seems there is a new flavor of the week every week, and as soon as one comes along the Quad camp seems ready to jump. I think it would be best to enjoy the process, digest everything coming his way and then see who stands out when the dust settles.

That's just my two cents.

I disagree. Jump on board with the best offer you got at the moment, and if something better comes along later, you can always jump ship. If it doesn't, then you're already on board with a great school and just stay where you're at. Sort of a safety net type situation. It'd be different if he had a ton of high level offers to pick from out of the gate.
