The 247Sports rankings for Louisiana have gone final for the 2018 class. How did things shake out? Head inside to see the new four-stars, the risers and more.

Not sure if this is new information or not. It was posted 5 hours ago but talks about the updated player rankings from earlier this month.

Dare Rosenthal was a 3-star this morning and is listed as a 4-star now. LSU's ranking hasn't changed though.

ETA: this tweet by Shea says Dantrieze Scott is also now a 4-star. He still shows as a 3-star on their team rankings list.

That's new info. I was going to post it earlier but didn't have the time or energy.

I think the team rankings show composite, which I don't think were updated yet.

Scott is going to finish as one of the best recruits of this class

I was briefly fooled. Shea’s article and his link reference only 247’s rankings, not the 247 Composite rankings.

247 has most of LSU’s signees ranked higher than other recruiting services.

Because its not a dictatorship ala rivals and just not ESPN. 247 has guys, including it's scouting director, that actually recognize the talent in LA and actually listen to those who know the kids best.

This will be interesting when everything is updated.

24/7 team composite rankings show LSU with:

01 5-star
11 4-star
10 3-star

They still show Dantrieze Scott as a 3-star and have ArDarius Washington on the commitment list.

So if my calculations are correct the numbers after the update are:

01 5-star
12 4-star
08 3-star

Keep in mind, this was the Louisiana update. Not sure when Texas, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida get/got updated. But I'm sure there could be further movement with our recruits from those states.

So all the cry babies can’t stop talking about all these three stars now. Looks like our coaches can evaluate talent.

Rosenthal jumped a ton. Went from an 87 to a 91 and 7th in the state. Barton thinks he may have the most upside in the state. Which position?

They're going to let him start out at DT, but eventually, I would be surprised if he's not on offense by his second year.

Nah, he’s got the same package as Devin White did. One practice at DT. Then it’s LT from there on out. Kids got top 10 pick potential at left tackle.
