yes, miles screwed up by assuming there's no way all 27 would be academically qualified, thus he should have stated up-front there's a greyshirt possibility. would recruits walk is the question.

regarding garrett, i find it hard to believe the coaching staff didn't communicate with him he had to change his ways, or else...(doesn't seem consistent with all we've heard about the program miles runs). if they didn't warn him, then i agree with you - he is guilty. if warnings were made and garrett still slacked, overate, kept a poor attitude, etc., then showing him the door is aok with me.

taking care of someone also includes being tough when they refuse to change their wrongful ways.

Miles was openly bothered by the Porter situation last year and that shows what kind of man he is.For people that want to know what kind of man Miles is they need to go back and look up the TC McCartney and Phelon Jones(both of them;his recruitment and his transfer;ask his dad what kind of man Miles is) stories.What happened to Porter was wrong and unfortunate but I didn't hear him bashing Miles at all.He's a real man.Chris Garrett and his dad are spoiled,manipulative liars.Plain and simple.Ask Northwestern St. how they feel about Garrett shafting them to go to Ole Miss.I hope he gets on the field against us so our guys can put him in the place he deserves to be in.Completely classless guys.Garrett and his father.
